Air Jordan True Flight - 2009 Releases

Pictures of upcoming Air Jordan True Flight models surfaced online a couple months ago, with a colorway here and there slowly hitting the forums and blogs. So far we have caught a look at 5 different Air Jordan True Flight models which are all said to be releasing during the 2009 calendar year.

Upon a quick glance the Air Jordan True Flight would almost appear to be a mock up of the Air Jordan 7, which would make sense since thats where Jordan Brand founds its inspiration for construction of the shoes. The most favorable model in the Air Jordan True Flight lineup, in my opinion, has to be the black and red color scheme above all included with black suede. I cant lie though, im kinda digging all the colorways that are set to release.

The True Flight will fit Jordan Brand retailers January 17th, 2009 for a price of $140. Follow the jump for a look at some of the other colorways which will be made available.

Teriyaki Boys feat. Pharrell & Chris Brown - Work That

The boys from Japan, Teriyaki Boys once again draped in Bape return to the music scene with another uptempo party starter entitled “Work That” from an upcoming album Serious Japanese. The song features frequent collaborator Pharrell Williams who brings in the repetitive, memorable chorus and Chris Brown adds a little R&B soul to the track. The crew go back and fourth between Japanese and English, but the models dancing behind the artists is a language we can all understand. Check it out above.

A.R.C x Saucony Shadow 6000 Now Available

The second collection of the Alife Rivington Club (A.R.C) x Saucony Shadow 6000 has just released and is available online at A.R.C. For the second part of the collaboration, the Shadow 6000 features grey, maroon and navy as opposed to red, blue and green colorways as seen on the first release. However, the same composition of mesh and nylon is kept the same on this group retaining a sporty look with A.R.C finishes. All three are available via A.R.C with a price tag of $100.

Kidz in the Hall x Reebok SK7000 Pack

Hooking up with Alternative Hip-Hip duo Kidz in the Hall, Reebok showcase two new colorways of their SK7000 model as part of the upcoming Classic Re-Mix collection. The sneakers, scheduled for a March 2009 Foot Locker release, will retail for $70 USD and will include a special re-mixed track specifically for the program. Two colorways are confirmed as of now with further models from the Reebok Re-Mix collection being revealed in the coming months.

Reebok hits us with a look into their Spring assortments. Gearing up for high top supremacy, 2009 will see the release of Reebok’s Ex-O-Fit Hi SG Strap model. Featuring all of the prerequisites for your typical “designer” high top, the kicks combine flashy colorways with a bulky tongue, toe strap and overall sleek, minimalistic design. White, pink, silver, gold and black colorways are scheduled to drop in February 2009 with a red and purple making its debut in April. Old Sneakers in New Places

For those of you who may not know what these are, these are the Nike Air Max 1 87 "URAWA Dragons"!!! These sneakers released back in 2004 and were a collab between the Japanese soccer team the URAWA Dragons and Nike. These shoes were a tier zero release super limited, and almost impossible to find and sold exclusively in Japan. Until now, you can purchase these kicks and much more from Footalog.

Infrared Air Jordan 1 High - 2009 Release

We first reported on the Black/Infrared Air Jordan 1 High Retro in July, but at the time we only had a catalog image. Today thanks to Triumvir we have our first look at actual images of the Infrared Air Jordan 1 High. Back in July we said they would release in January, but according to the new info they might drop in March ‘09. Nike Air Penny 2 - Miami Heat

You can see Penny in the pic asking “Why couldn’t I have rocked the Air Penny 2’s while I was in Miami?” Well, simple, the #7 on the jersey won’t match the #1 on your kicks. Although Penny Hardaway only played in 16 games for the Miami Heat in 2007, his final season on the hardwood (and only not wearing #1 on his jersey), his impact on the NBA, and on the world of sneakers will always be huge. Nike decided to pay tribute to one of their best sponsorees with a colorway to match his final days on the NBA court.

The Nike Air Penny 2 Miami Heat Colorway features orange and red accent colors on a mostly black upper. The Penny 2 dropped this year in both the black and white Orlando Magic colorways, but these kicks won’t hit shelves until sometime in 2009.

New Air Jordan 11/12 Countdown Pack & Spizikes Release Dates

Jordan experts should have predicted this change once the news was released about the December 26th release date for the 11/12 Countdown Pack. Jordan Brand has moved the date to December 20th, so it’s quite possible that your 11/12 CDP will be under the tree on Christmas day.

The Cool Grey and Nelly Spiz’ikes release date was moved from December 31st to December 24th. Heads up to all the Jordan heads that plan on getting these releases. The release dates have changed, but we’re sorry to inform you that the prices are the same. This news has been confirmed by Nike!

It seems like Supra Footwear has picked up a little inspiration for Jordan Brand and the classic Air Jordans. This is a look at a new Supra Cruizer Low which we hear will be released during the Spring of 2009. If your an Air Jordan fan then im sure you are already recognizing the colorway made famous by the Air Jordan 5, along with details such as the mesh side panels which seem to come right from the Air Jordan 4. The “grape” combo including white, purple and teal is usually always a great mix and these Supras surely display that. We dont have an exact release date at this time besides for knowing they should hit retailers during the Spring of 2009, but if we hear anything else we will be sure to let you know.
